Welcome to Moshan,

Our dream was to introduce Swindon to decent Caribbean food and Moshan Island Grill was established in 2011 in old town Swindon. 

 

Having never worked in the restaurant business we were pretty clueless, but we had Uncle Ben who helped us get on our feet.

On our opening night he looked at us and said ‘you’ve created a monster’. We woke up the next morning feeling like we had been hit by a bus, we looked at each other and said we can’t do this! But we did!! We served thousands of people out of our tiny kitchen and even won 2nd best restaurant in the whole of Wiltshire!  

 

We made the decision after 8 years, not to renew our lease at the restaurant and decided to close it down. Until 15th December 2019 (after 6 months) we reopened our new restaurant above our takeaway. Moshan Island Grill has now returned to Old town Swindon.

 

Moshan Box Dinner opened its doors in 2013 and became very popular in the town, with its modern  takeaway box meals.

Moshan Box Dinner, featured on X factors & Just Eat 2017 TV adverts and also have won takeaway of the year awards.

All our dishes are freshly prepared and cooked to order, using only the finest ingredients from the Caribbean.  We welcome a wide range of customers from families, couples, friends, travellers wishing to bring back past experiences from the Caribbean or simply those yet to discover Caribbean cuisine- We aim to provide an exceptional and memorable service to all.
